This patient initially had a lumpectomy and radiation for a right breast cancer. The shape was good but unfortunately she developed a recurrence of the cancer in her right breast. After radiation, implants are seldom a good option breast reconstruction due to the higher risk for hardness, scarring and capsule formation. This patient previously had children, her abdomen size was adequate as a donor site for tissue. She underwent a Right Tram reconstruction where her abdomen skin, fat and muscle were used to reconstruct the right breast. She has a very physical job and was able to return to work and full activities after 2 months.
