Dr. David S. Goldberg’s overall goal is to accentuate the natural beauty of his patients to create an appearance that never looks overdone. As one of Dr. Goldberg’s patients, you can expect that he will communicate openly with you about your options and expectations for surgery.

Meet David S. Goldberg, M.D.
David S. Goldberg, M.D., is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who combines an artist’s eye with extensive knowledge and experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to achieve beautiful, natural enhancements for his patients.
Dr. Goldberg graduated cum laude from Boston University in 1985 with a bachelor of science degree and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1990.
Upon graduation, Dr. Goldberg continued his training through several residency and fellowship positions. He completed his general surgery training at Pennsylvania Hospital, and a pediatric trauma surgery fellowship at the prestigious Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. He also completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and a fellowship in breast reconstruction at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1999, he opened his private practice to serve the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery needs of the Monterey, California area. Today, he also operates Monterey Skin Fitness Center, providing a full range of medical skin care services performed by licensed estheticians. In 2006, Dr. Goldberg completed a continuing education course with the California Medical Association to stay up to date on the latest advances in his field.
Dr. Goldberg is currently the Chairman of the Department of Surgery as well as division head of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, where he maintains active operating privileges. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is affiliated with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Monterey County Medical Society.
